Greeters Ministry

Mission Statement

Our mission in the Greeters Ministry is to encourage and enrich the lives of each person entering the doors of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church by welcoming and supporting them in a positive, friendly, spiritual manner.

Purpose

The purpose of this ministry is to provide an enthusiastic, positive, spiritual and friendly welcome to each person entering in Saint Mary Queen of Angels before every worship service and special service. This ministry is committed to help make every worship experience at Saint Mary Queen of Angels, positive and spiritually up lifting for everyone, at every time.

Activities

The activities of this ministry shall therefore be designed to be supportive and sensitive to the needs of the church and the congregation by assisting the ushers, deacon, pastoral staff and other ministries as needed. Opportunities shall be provided for the greeters to assist before and after each worship service as needed.

Services

The services rendered by the Greeters Ministry shall be to:

• Welcome each person entering for worship at St. Mary in a friendly, spiritual manner
• Provide assistance, information and direction to church facilities and services
• Educate members of the ministry on maintaining positive, spiritual attitudes
• Support the mission and the goals of the church
